went out to some garage sales this weekend. my boyfriend is always seeking out fishing gear, he spotted this reel and immediately knew it was a vintage mitchell. from what i can find it's from the 70s (could be wrong). anyone have some more knowledge on the timeframe it was made, or how much it's actually worth? he bought it for $1!!!

It’s worth about $1! I’ve got one just like it. So does everyone else who inherited their grandpa’s tackle.
These are cool vintage reels but they aren’t collectible or valuable. There were tons of them made and they are widely available.
Good reel for $1. I’d clean it up and use it.
