Hi all so today is my first attempt at making up my own hook links instead of buying pre made. I'm trying to strip the braided line at the end but i end up either snapping the line or it just doesn't strip. Could anybody advise. I'm using dark matter braided hooklink (15lb) with the korda strippa tool. Thanks

That’s not a coated hook link. Nothing to strip.
Put the braid into the stripper tool push it into the groove and then pull down on the longer section, dont pull horizontally. That’s how I’ve always done it, if the end bit gets a little frayed just snip it off.
Edit: it also helps massively when cutting braid to have sharp decent braid scissors. Normal ones seem to make the fraying worse from my experience.
Cutting it with a spoon?
