I hit the dock a couple times and broke the lip… will it still catch fish and have the same “injured bait fish” action? (Top is a rapala husky jerk. Bottom is berkley stunna 100.)

Only one way to find out! I’d say toss em around and twitch em just to see what the action is, if any.

As far as a jerkbait goes? Trashed.
You might be able to sand down the lip and use them as a spook topwater bait or if they still manage sink they may work as a hard lipless twitch bait.
Only one way to really find out.

I doubt they’d work as intended, but they may still catch fish. If they don’t sink any longer, they could be used as a popper in a way. They’d at least look like a shad or dying fish on the surface.

Sand down the lip to nothing if it’s a suspending bait you can walk it underwater like a topwater but all the action is up to you now… But I have caught tarpon this way….
