I recently started fishing and realized sunscreen is not protecting me from getting burned. I have seen multiple fishing shirts, hoodies, etc, but can't find which brands and types provide the best protection.
I am looking for recommendations for gear others have used and can vouch for to combat getting sunburned while out on the water.

Bass Dash. Cheap and feel the same as my HUK and Columbia shirts. They come in lots of colors, have hoodie and mask options also.
I got the aftco sun shirt from tackle warehouse for $35. Super light, very breathable, and keeps you cool. Your arms aren’t the only part you need to protect. Don’t forgot about the back of your neck, your hands, and your face.
Theyre all the same ime. Go cheap.
I grabbed a world wide sportsman long sleeve from bass pro the other day and have been loving it. Super glad to have the peace of mind that I’m protected from the sun cause I also burn super easily, even with sunscreen.
If you go to bass pro you can try on and feel the different shirt options they have to help you decide what to get. Some have ever so slightly different textures, some with hoods vs no hoods, etc. Take the excuse to go to bass pro 😂
Aftco samurai hooded, hood up and a Columbia bucket hat over the hood, cheap kastking gloves from Amazon is my typical setup.
Love my simms bug stopper and solarflex hoodies. I also wear the gaiter with a hat and the sun gloves.
Navillus and Aftco have really great ones. They’re amazing if you get sunburnt and need to cover up as well
I own several huk shirts.
They are nice, comfy, breathable.
I have a couple of shirts from Koofin and I love them. I also own Columbia, under armour, and huk gear. Look for clearance sales. Deals are out there.
