Starting to do more and more bass tournaments and I’m obsessing over having 5 perfectly matching combos. Right now I have 2 lews and 3 of my dad’s miss matched rods/reels. I like lews but I haven’t found the right match yet.
I looked into the speed sticks, but they don’t have enough rod options to cover all major fishing techniques. Then I went to the custom lite line, the rods are perfect. I’d have a pitching stick, magnum hammer, shallow crank bait, magnum bass, and all purpose spinning. And I could even have the spinning reel to match, but the casting reels are only 7.5:1.
Because everything for me has to be “perfect” I want a reel that’s 6.5:1 ish 7.5 and 8.3. Then I looked at the BB1 pro and it covers that I just know I’d be pissed at myself for spending $2,000 just for my combos not to perfectly matching. Any thoughts?
