First solo kayak river fishing trip ever. First river trip in the new kayak. First time back on this specific river in 6 years.
I was able to easily and almost effortlessly pedal upstream, island hop, and drift back to my trailer hours later. Got to slime up the new Ketch board too.
Thought a whopper plopper would crush, but the karashi won this time. A slow day, but still extremely fun being out on the water!
