So I can get either of these rods for a great price, red one is a daiwa VIP 46 and I can get a reel as well for $16 cad total, other is a silstar rod for around $11. I dont really have any clue about rods but I know they are supposed to have a handle?? I was googling for a while but couldnt find any info on replacing one or why they would even be missing in the first place. Super odd, half the rods in this spot have no handle.

Looks like a fly rod
These are fly fishing rods, for fly fishing. You have a spinning reel, for spinning, you’ll need a spinning rod for those types of reels.

Fly rods don’t always have anything below the reel seat because you don’t hold them down there.
