I’d just spend $30 and get a Shimano sienna from Walmart or internet. Probably the best budget reel around.

No reel is bad for $15, but I think you should consider the overall value of what you’re buying.
If I spent $15 for a reel that lasted one or two outings with issues throughout I’d consider it a wasted $15. I’d rather spend $50 on one that would last decently well for a few years at least.

I’ve had this reel for 2 years, still works. Caught bass, panfish and trout with it. Is it the best, no. But it works fine
