So i have about 100m of Korda’s ‘basix spod/marker braid’ on my spod reel
I’ve then brought Drennan aground Weasel shock leader to attach the to braid so I don’t keep cracking off but im not sure its fit for purpose.
Do i just create a loop knot in the leader once tied to the braid to attach the spomb to?
Do i even have the correct leader?
Any help or recommendations are appreciated!

The knot has to be small enough that it passes through the rings. With a 30-50 lb leader it will probably have to be a gt knot. Looks like an overkill though and an extra point of failure. Are you planning to cast extreme distances with extreme weights?
