Me and my dad are going fishing for stocked trout tomorrow and i used to have some kind of rig but i forgot what it was. I’m using powerbait but form it into a spinner kinda so it spins underwater and it worked so well a few years back. I used this thing to make em (picture) or just used my hands can someone tell me what rig to use for this? And what this thing and method is called!!

its a bait former. never actually used one though. online shows a few different kinds of formers but they seem to be for carp. could probably work on trout but unless you use a butter knife or something you’re still gonna get your fingers dirty.
