I will be fishing in the Little Magothy River & Chesapeake Bay of Maryland, mainly for striped bass (rockfish). I haven’t fished much in my adult years so I am pretty rusty at the moment. Grabbed a cup holder, 3.5lb anchor, and a kayak cover. Any tips would be appreciated. Thanks.

I’ve had no luck with bites yet. Going out around 5-8pm and I see a lot of fish jumping. Using 3-4in LT on a 1/4oz jig eye.
Dont use an anchor on moving water until you get really comfortable with your kayak.
Learn how to tie that anchor with a zip tie so that if it gets hung up you can retrieve it.
