Pro Tip: install the hanger for the end of the rod slightly higher than the hanger for the back of the rod to shift the weight load to the section of the rod that’s the thickest and strongest to eliminate any chance of the rod taking a “set” This is primarily for real light tackle rods, but easy enough to do for any.
