Ive used that exact tube when flying before. You get some weird looks leaving baggage claim but i don’t remember paying extra lol

I just got back from so cal on a tuna trip, they pulled out all my rods in that same tube that were individually wrappped and couldn’t figure out how to get them back in and i got home to 2 cal star 900js broken tips, and my calico bass rods smoked by the big rods. I put in a complaint and they told me i prob didn’t wrap them with care and that’s why they broke. Tag on rod tube said was opened for inspection. Great day at the airport.
