Looking to upgrade my rod so I can try glide baits for the first time, but also anything that would be optimal with a heavy rod. You guys have any recommendations? I will be primarily using this for bass fishing. Maybe striper fishing if the circumstances are right.
I’d like to stay around $100 because I know glide baits/big swim baits are expensive as well.

daiwa dx is a solid swimbait rod and is $110. fast action, affordable, comfortable to fish and will work for hard baits as well.
i also like the johnny morris carbonlite glidebait rod from bass pro, but that one is $130. moderate action, makes is stellar for hard baits 10 year warranty, comfortable to fish, accurate lure rating, can fish beast/jig hooks on it with braid
