Been fishing this rod for a couple of months now and really liked it, but the reel I had on it just didn’t do it justice. Finally upgraded the reel today and after a few hours on the water, I can already say this setup feels damn good.

Reel: Shimano Metanium DC 71 HG
Super happy with how it casts and handles. What do you think of this combo? Anyone got experience with the Metanium DC – or Millerods rods in general? Would love to hear your thoughts.
