Took y’all’s advice with duck tape and flex seal on the kayak I got for free. Worked okay.
Did a 8hr trip on the river, allowed my stepson to be the guinea pig, had a great day caught a bunch of bluegill and few channel cats.

It’s fixable. Get a clean plastic bucket, a torch and a putty knife. Itl take some time and YouTube videos but you can plastic weld that shut permanently. Make sure to clean and sand all the flex seal or adhesive off real good.
