These images were reported on iNaturalist/EddMaps. Carp isn’t known This far north. Any way to tell? I’m inclined to think it’s a red horse.

Honestly due to the body shape, the browny colour, the fact it’s in shallow weedy water, all points to carp, red horses are usually silvery to reddish gold, and also have downturned mouths but no barbels. They also prefer water bodies with gravel bottoms, that are clean.
