Even though it doesn’t have the nice slow falling action this way, it still benefits extremely from the secondary action of the skirting, i’m sure this would be great for windy days/deeper water!

I prefer a drop shot for weighting them, but I don’t see why this wouldn’t work. It just doesn’t gain anything from the ned rig as far as standing up on the bottom.
