My son and I have been fishing this pond most of this summer and have only caught juvenile Green Sunfish. We can see bigger fish gulping at the surface quite often so I’m sure there’s bigger/other fish here.
We try rooster tails, curly tails, Zoom (brand) worms, etc and nothing seems to bite. Unless we use live nightcrawlers, which always gets the Sunfish.
After we ran out of live bait, we decided to clean up the dock of all the cut lines and I scored three (new to me) lures! All in all not a bad day.
But how the heck can we catch those big guys that are out there??
