Is this going to be bad for my rods? It was in my cart and my wife ordered it before I did more research.

Just looks like the mounts are to far apart could you bring them slightly closer together

Rod are one thing, but your line is going to bake. Athought it looks like your doors are insulated, garage doors get really hot and radiate a lot of heat. I would not do this.

Way too far apart for my liking.

I would move them a lot closer together

Personally I would mount them on a wall where the rods could be stored vertically.. But moving them closer together would be the next best option. I also just noticed it’s on the back of a rolling garage door, I wouldn’t trust the rods being on there while the door was opened and shut.

I’d mount them vertically. This way, they’ll warp.

just add some hooks to the center of all the poles

As others have said the mounts are too far apart. I wouldn’t have them on a garage door either. Just seems like you’ll risk them falling if you open the door.

Mount them closer together and take the reels off. I have my rods mounted horizontally. Would never mount the vertically – wouldn’t take much for someone to pick on up and jam the tip into the ceiling and snap it off. Unloaded graphite rods won’t warp

I’ll move them closer together, they rotate back
And forth so I don’t have much room. All my walls are filled with other stuff and I don’t open the door often. My garage is my temple.
