Hey guys, I inshore saltwater fish a ton, have fished with no fish finder for 2 years and done great but want to add one. I really liked the Lowrance elite fs 9 inch unit but that just seemed huge for a kayak. Would a 7 inch fish finder still be able to utilize side scan well?

I think a 9 inch FF is about the largest I’d put in a kayak. I personally have a 7 inch and it’s just fine (including for side scan). I wouldn’t go any smaller.
