Finally took a closer look at the old rigs in the shed out back. What am I looking at?
Two custom made and this Zebco, which I gather is an ultralight. There was a "Redbone" medium-heavy rod, too, but since I'm mostly looking for crappie I'm not too interested in it. The lengths and line weights are self evident on the custom rods, but I don't know what "725-G" or "602" mean. There's also "Brinkley" and the customer's nam, plus the year they were made, 1991.
Based on all the old tackle, this guy was after bass.
