I want a sensitive rod that i can use for trout fishing, panfish, crappie and maybe catch some dink bass once in a while. Is this a good choice or are there better options that give me more bang for my buck

Hard to beat for the money. I own the exact same combo three times over.

7’ IMO, is probably a bit too long, but it will do just fine. I prefer my sticks 6’6” unless it’s a heavier duty. I’ve always tended towards 6’ ultra light rods.

Shakespeare micro series combo is my go to! I love the UL game. They also have a 7′ light rod combo too. Half the price too.
