Ended up pulling the trigger on the pelican! With the saved cash from not going with the old town I also snagged a rod holder, anchor mount, and a fish finder/battery/tender setup. Overall I am happy with my purchase and would do it again if I needed. The pedal drive definitely took some getting used to, my legs have felt every trip out but man are my calves lookin great! Looking forward to more time on the water with this beast and would absolutely recommend to anyone wanting to get into pedal drives without dropping a rent check on one
