I was in a vintage shop today and found this old antique fishing reel. Anyone have any idea of the brand, model and value? I couldnt make out any markings on it. I mainly fly fishing for trout with a 4#/5# rod and reel but do have a #9 rod and reel that I am planning on using for salmon next season so wondering if it's worth a purchase.

If you’re looking to purchase it for personal use and not to keep as a collectable, you’re definitely better off buying something new instead. Getting an old reel like that (which is definitely worth less than the $65 listed!) means you’ll have to take it apart, give it a deep cleaning, grease it back up, and then it’ll still be an old reel that’ll perform worse than a modern reel.
