Good morning, I told my boss that I wanted to learn how to fish, so he got me this 4.50m rod and 1 reel, although it is quite used it seems to work fine, I want to try fishing on a beach nearby this Sunday, what else do I need to buy to be able to fish? If you could be very specific about what I need to buy I would appreciate it, as I know nothing about fishing

Where are you planning on fishing? What fish species do you plan on targeting? Bait or artificial?
I would get some dead bait like minows or heering.get hooks or treble hooks like size 3/0. Get a steel.sinkers like 30 g i think would be enough it depends on current also check what is your CW it will be written on your rod in grams or ounces and try to keep weight of a sinker bellow the CW if you have any questions I will answer them if I can
Some line on the reel if it dosnt already have some(if it does and it looks old should prob switch anyways),Hooks,Sinkers and bait ofcurse. You can buy pre-made general rigs like a high-low rig,but you will still need sinkers to put on it and cast out.
