This is how Amazon is sending out fishing poles… Any surprise that it's broken in multiple spots?? Currently waiting for a call back because neither online or a representative could process an exchange.

I wouldnāt accept an exchange. The replacement will be just as poorly handled. Just get a refund and buy from a reputable shop.

Just return it, there’s no point in dragging out the exchange process. Wrap it in tape and drop it off.

Must be different between sellers. I just got a rod off Amazon and it was in a hard cardboard tube
