Hi everyone !

So quick context, I live on an island far away from everything (Reunion Island) I recently ordered online and shipped a motor + battery to my place to mount a motor on my Hobie. I fish at sea only, up to 150m depth. And I have back issues, pedals really ruins my sessions.

At first I wanted to mount the motor through the cassette but when I received the motor i realised it was too big to go through my outback hull hole.

So my question is should I keep mounting it through the cassette and I just lock it with the screw and remove it off the cassette that stays in place, and take out/ mount the motor by under the kayak every time or should I just abandon this idea and mount it at the rear.

I found this video of a DIY rear mount. https://youtu.be/p9kxBUCk1g8?si=Jsgd4akRC3jDLBwb
Anyone knows an actual rear mount that a shop might sell for Hobie outback ?

What are your thoughts on mounting on a Hobie outback.
Iโ€™d like to avoid the side mount as Iโ€™ve read multiple times I might capsize โ€ฆ

Thanks in advance for your help / advises ๐Ÿ™
