brown bullhead. and it is a pretty decent one too.

I’m curious what people will say since I’m too new to be confident about my own identification.
but if I caught that, I am pretty sure I’d conclude it was a flathead, I was under the impression bullheads tend to have a stronger color gradient between the top and bottom, and I think they tend to be less chunky in the belly? plus IIRC that would be kinda big for a bullhead but small for a flathead, so I would figure my luck would be inclined towards the less favorable result because of course it is.

Bullhead, small flatheads are long and lean.
