Just used my Okuma 7ft 6-15lb rod, with 15lb braid and 10lb flouro with a blood knot. Brought that down to a barrel swivel with a clamp to switch out lures.
I just attached like every lure I had that was heavy enough to get out there (except that 3oz lure, idk why I even have that lol.) Got behind the surf, maybe felt a bite? Any good cast and retrievable lures yall recommend?
No idea what I would even be catching, I’m in the north Bay Area CA at Stinson beach.
Finally caught a couple bass at my local lake yesterday and feeling ready to find more time with line in the water. I still suck at fishing and have only caught 4 fish recently.
