After casting your lure, let out extra line until the line coming off the spool lines back up with your line guide. This can make a huge difference when you see something strike the surface and you need some extra distance to get there. Also for the longest casts, align your line guide in the center of your spool. This makes for the smoothest transition possible. Tight lines!
