Pretty badass company, that builds their rods in Germany and offers a 10 year warranty. The one European rod manufacturer that can compete with Japan and USA. Actually, the best balanced rod I’ve ever held is a Sportex Graphenon sea-run brown trout rod.
I prefer other rod manufacturers generally, such as Shimano, Daiwa, Evergreen and Jackall, but Sportex are always worth to check out. Especially if you’re in an area where the warranty is covered. Has anyone else got any experience from Sportex?

Looks pretty cool, but what’s up with Achtung: don’t get zapped thing? Was there an epidemic of people casting into the power lines?
