Picked up an old st croix rod off Marketplace. Want to give it a second life, but this part of the reel seat is cracked.
Would love to keep the original cork but can’t seem to find a method online that doesn’t require cutting the handle. I’d appreciate any ideas, thanks!

Zip ties!!!
Use a hose clamp and electrical tape.
You either need to remove the handle, or part of the handle and the guides in order to replace the seat. Your best bet would be to use some sort of epoxy or something to try to patch the crack.
Depending on the model, you may be able to exchange it under their warranty program.
