I've tried this spot a couple times and both times it looks like a bubbling stew. What do you all think could be the culprit? I was thinking crayfish at first, but there's some big bubbles and they can last for about 20-30 seconds. Then I was thinking maybe methane or some other gas.

Maybe turtles but gas is a good guess too
Carp feeding.
Fish farts!
I see a lot of these too at my local pond. When i toss out my Mepps spinners i just get ton of Bluegill nibbles, so that would be my guess
It is a Gas
Methane, lots of methane
Carp, Turtles, fish farts?
Methane gas coming up out of the earth.
If it lasts for as long as your saying it’s just gas, but if it lasts for about 5 seconds in one spot then slowly starts trailing its a carp feeding
Mermaid farts. Yesterday must’ve been chili night.
