Rig it like you would any other paddle tail. If you’re going to add the soft plastic as a trailer, I recommend rigging upside down or snipping just the paddle off, with some bladed jigs and whatnot the paddle tail kicks up water which affects the movement/ability for the lure to work. Personally I prefer paddle tails on a straight 2-3/0 Texas rig, or a spinner bait, but that’s just me.

I like to run them on a jig head.
