Been getting into Carp fishing recently and love tying my own rigs, not sure about the length of hair rigs yet or how to position them really.

Looks ok but the line should pass towards the point of the hook. Not the back.

The line is coming off the wrong side of the eye. The hair length looks OK, might be a little long if/when the stop pulls into the popup, but it would probably work either way.
