I’m fishing this stretch of orange beach this week. Mainly targeting pompano and maybe some small to medium sized sharks. Casting as far as I can I think I’m landing on that sandbar outlined in the second photo. Would I be better off in the deeper area before the sandbar?

Yes the deep area before the sand bar is like a highway for fish
Cast down the current, a lot of fish follow the current
I figured but this morning was one lady fish after another in there. Must just be the timing
