Hurricane Erin still left a huge influence on the water table well after her departure in NC. Had my fly rod with me in case I saw any tailing red drum, but sadly I did not, so I entertained myself jigging the weedline for several flounders and little groupers. The highlight of the session was two eagle rays that had come right by me in the kayak in about 2 feet of water. Amazing to see them up close like that!
