I just purchased a nice 18ft Fishing boat for me and my family/friends, but I am looking for the best lures to create the ultimate tackle box to keep on the boat 24/7. I am in no way a novice fisherman, but I would love some insight into what people think are the best lures to have on hand. I am going to be doing mostly fishing off the kelp patties and somewhat near shore (maybe 1-2 miles offshore). Looking to mainly target bass like calicos, white seabass, as well as Halibut, and finally some Yellowtails/Tuna. This is going to be something I build over time so budget is not necessarily an issue, but I would love to know what is the best lures I absolutely NEED to have with me whenever I take it out.
(Added Info: Going to be fishing in Socal, anywhere from Dana point all the way up to Huntington Beach)
