I wonder if anything is in there?

I was walking in this park next to the Chattahoochee river and I came across this retention area. I didn't have my poles with me, but I was wondering if something could be swimming in there.

I probably will look foolish fishing in a retention area that's not far from a major river, but I am kind of curious.
