Howdy, y’all. Recently started fishing this week and I’m wondering on how to get my first catch. I spent out around 2 hours at this lake today with no fish caught. I felt 2 bites/swipes, but nothing more than that. I’m using a 1/8oz Roostertail, started using some bread at the end and wondering what it is that I’m doing wrong. Any help is appreciated, thanks

Honestly that body of water looks like it’s got a lot of potential. Also looks murky as fuck so bright colors like white or orange or super dark like black might hit. You could also try something that’s going to make a lot of noise like a spinner bait or a rattling crank bait. If all else fails throw some worms out there
