Hello all, I have had this trailer sitting in the orchard for about 10 years (forgotten), and figured it would make a perfect kayak trailer for my Titan. I was simply going to strip it, paint it, shorten the tongue a bit, and install perforated metal for the floor. I would add some carpet or something to prevent scratches, but I see most kayak trailers have the kayaks resting on poles or tubes instead of a flat surface. Is there a reason for this? What are the poles that are generally used? Any better ideas for a good setup for this? Thanks!
