Anybody have much luck on fine tuning this reel for distance without back lashing, seems to be more difficult then my lews and shimanos, has a different type of braking system, if I dial to much off I get back lashes but if I dial it back in it barley casts very far, 3/8 jig, I’m using 14lb flouro, other then that the reel is smooth and the bigger handles are a plus

The one thing I like about the new Revos is how they cast. Super nice feeling. Except for that I really dislike them. Just don’t put as much effort into the cast and it’s going to be easier to cast.
