First time fishing in the western US, love fishing on a fly and pumped to get a coastal cutty (I think?). Disclaimer— hands were wet, time out of water minimal, and lil friend swam off with some kick!

Cutthroat have spots concentrating towards the tail where rainbows usually have spots all over
