Depends what you’re targeting, if you’re going for perch, split them in half and thread a hook. Along the worm. Or you can use them whole.

I’ve preshrunk 2 hooks together, hooked the head and then middle of body and have caught 3 bass on the same worm before I had to re-hook the middle. If you can make it weedless I’d do that, but I forget what the hooks are called
