Thank you for the advice!

On Thursday I made a post about not being able to catch a dang fish. I got a ton of friendly advice and took it all in. The most common piece of advice was dropping the lures and putting on a simple nightcrawler. And it worked!

On Saturday and Sunday I went out with a small hook and a box of nightcrawlers and I had to of caught at least 30 bluegill and 4 small channel catfish.

Yesterday before I decided to go home, I casted just one more time and I caught this little baby bluegill and I thought, this seems like it would be perfect bait for a big fish. So I hooked it on through its bottom lip and thought, I wonder if I go cast this is a different spot where it maybe doesn’t belong if it would actually get a bite.

Dude, first cast, I got rocked. I pulled up this largemouth bass and had the kids next to me hyped. I was so stoked, I was laughing like a kid and my heart rate was jacked, this shit felt so good.

I just wanted to make another post and say thank you all for the advice, you guys rule, this community is so awesome. I can’t wait to go back out.
