The Revenant 663 uses Fuji components. The Dockwalker uses Seaguide components. I think Seaguide is more budget friendly and it shows in the rod price.
Also, the Revenant 663 is medium heavy but the Dockwalker is a medium. Which is going to give me a better hookset? Will the medium be enough for the very large fish?
I see that the Revenant 663 is rated only for up to a 1 oz lure while being a medium heavy, but the Dockwalker goes up to 3 oz while only being a medium. I don't know if this really matters since I will only be dropping crabs/sand fleas/oysters/shrimp straight down.
This rod will be used for kayak fishing under docks and bridges.
