What do you think of pistol grips? This is a 5.6f medium fast action rod wanted more of a finesse rod to cast lures better in canals. Ive always thought the leverage on the bottom part is what i needed. Alao this was like 40 bucks . Do yall hate em or love em?

That’s a nice reel but personally I don’t like those. It’s hard to get leverage when reeling. Longer handles allows you to nestle it in your armpit and on larger fish to put the end on your hip. But I’ve never fished with one so my experience is limited.
For a spincaster not a baitcaster!
I have a UL pistol grip that I use but I keep a SC reel on it for bream and crappie right off the dock. it feels weird casting with a regular baitcast reel on it.
