found this while fishing in what i thought was a super hidden spot, luckily the actual spoon is in good condition and the treble hooks and split rings are easy to replace. on the front it says “kastmaster Acme tackle co.”

Kastmasters are great spoons that’ll catch pretty much anything.
That is a Kastmaster spoon. It’s an extremely old design, and it is still available today (and available in hundreds of different configurations, at that). It wobbles very erratically when retrieved and it works very well. I actually took a few white perch today using one.
The Kastmaster and the Dardevle are my two favorite spoons and my go-to lures when nothing else is really working, and I’ve had luck with them in freshwater, brackish, and saltwater. I own a bunch of each as they are pretty affordable and time-tested lures, with my smallest being 1/32nd oz and my heaviest being 2oz.
