Previous owner drilled holes for a trolling motor mount. I'm try to figure out the best way to plug them. Access underneath isn't possible. I was thinking maybe some kind of black rubber cap/plug? Or just fill it with silicone and call it a day.
Any ideas?

put a trolling motor mount there
I filled mine in with Marine grade silicone and it has held up perfectly for the past 6 months. Somebody with more experience might come in here and tell me how bad an idea this was but I hope notš

plug it and seal it with 3m 5200
I feel like home depot has rubber inserts that will go in those holes. I used them to fill predrilled holes in a front bumper for a license plate
Those are big enough I think Iād put well nuts in. That way itāll be absolutely water proof but you could still put something there down the line if you wanted. If they were smaller Iād say just fill em with marine silicon
Put some well nuts in there, that should work and you dont need to mess with plastic welding. If you know how to or know someone that does, welding them would be a more permanent solution
